Rob Andrew
An accomplished sportsman – an astute businessman and a witty and captivating speaker.
Rob is Englands most-capped Fly Half, making 71 appearances for England and scoring a record 396 points.
He has harnessed his understanding of ‘making teamwork work and draws on the parallels between business and sport, identifying the ‘personal behaviours necessary to achieve that all important result.
A graduate of Cambridge University, Rob became a Director of DTZ Debenham Thorpe, heading up a team of consulting surveyors specialising in commercial property in London, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
In October 1995, Rob was appointed Director of Rugby at Newcastle Rugby Football Club, leading them to the Premiership title in the 97/98 season.
At the end of 1999 he was appointed by the RFU to head up a task force for the restructuring of the game in England. He delivered a blueprint with the same unerring force and accuracy he once displayed on the field of play.
His presentations are universally applicable and his anecdotes unrelentingly trenchant, regardless of the level of his audiences interest in Rugby Union.
